Meet the Author, Monika Strand
As a life long entrepreneur, Monika embraced her desire to be a Children's Author, in 2023 while anticipating the arrival of her first grand child. It was the pivotal moment that inspired her to go after the career she dreamed about as a teenager. JustForYouBooks.com was born, as so was her grandson!

Her background is vast. She has owned a Dance Apparel Store, Coffee House, National Fundraising Company, been a ballet instructor, a Realtor and now runs her own Publishing Company, "Storyteller's Publishing" with her husband that produces all the books you see here at JustForYouBooks.com, along with writing projects her husband works on.

Monika knows that top notch customer service, products made with thought and love, and staying inspired, makes for a winning business combination.

Fun Facts: The name JustForYOUBooks is a head nod to Monika's first business. Just For Dance was a dance clothing store where she learned the art of customer service while helping dancers find the perfect fitting pointe shoes. And YES-Monika has written a few books about dancing and will probably write more in the future.

If you asked Monika, "What inspires your writing?" she will almost always say animals.
She loves placing them into her stories as the main characters, then naming them in her personalized books after the child who will be receiving the book. It's a joyful process that brings smiles to the children who receive her books.
